No stand-up comedian has more sarcastic and observational humor than Brian Regan. He has a reputation for his escapist comedy, which makes you forget about your troubles with a good laugh. Even though he is not among those comedians that do skits, he has soared high and is well-received by people.
Regan has a long career in comedy that started in the 80s. To pursue a career in stand-up comedy, he stopped studying in college in 1980. For years, he honed his comedy by performing in many venues. Until ten years after, his chance for a big break occurred. He was given the opportunity to perform on live TV. His TV appearance was on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. In 1997, his first comedy album, "Brian Regan Live," was released. By 2004, he was featured in Comedy Central's "Shorties Watchin' Shorties," a cartoon stan-up series. His career grew more when in 2007, he was signed with Comedy Central. "Brian Regan in Concert: A Comedy Central Live Event" (2007), "Standing Up" (2007), "The Epitome of Hyperbole" (2008), and "Brian Regan: Live from Radio City Music Hall" (2015) are some of his stellar work with comedy cable channel.
In 2017, he hit big when he played a role in the dark comedy series "Loudermilk," which received critical acclaim. He entered into a contract with Netflix the same year. "Nunchucks and Flamethrowers" (2017), "Standup and Away! with Brian Regan" (2018), and "On the Rocks" (2021) are the well-loved specials he released on the streaming site.
In his major tour this year, he will bring laughs at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Friday, March 17, 2023. Reserve tickets now before they sell out!
