Landing some minor roles in television shows, Chris D'Elia's start in the show business was focused on acting. He dabbled in acting while still in high school and notably landed a guest role in Chicago Hope and some minor movies. However, fate has a different path for the New Jersey native as he found himself quitting acting school, writing scripts, and embracing stand-up comedy as his profession. Although he had success as an actor, he focused on honing his comedic skills.

D'elia's appearances on "Comedy Central's Live at Gotham," "Comedy Central Presents," and "Showtime's Live Nude Comedy" were his first significant breaks in the stand-up comedy circuit. The comedian's career skyrocketed thanks to these high-profile appearances. D'Elia is notable for having three Netflix specials: "Incorrigible" in 2015, "Man on Fire" in 2017, and "No Pain" in 2020. He became famous in 2018 and 2019 for doing impressions of the rapper Eminem, which the renowned rapper found very amusing. As a result, D'Elia played the lead role in Eminem's "Homicide" music video.

Moreover, the 42-year-old comedian enjoys the success of his podcast, "Congratulations with Chris D'Elia," which has been a mainstay on iTunes' comedy podcast charts since its debut in February 2017. In addition, D'Elia co-stars with Brendan Schaub in "The King and the Sting and the Wing."

After a few minor setbacks in his professional and personal life, Chris D'Elia returned to the stage in 2022, much to fans' delight. The comedian has been actively touring since the summer of 2022 and would extend all the way through 2023. Fans of actor-comedian will be pleased to hear that he will be performing his brand of raunchy, hilarious stand-up comedy at even more locations across the country. See him on May 20 at Salt Lake City's Eccles Theater for a night of hilariousness and honest comedy that only the likes of Chris can pull off. Join him on his "Don't Push Me Tour," and be sure to bring your buddies because comedy shows like this are meant to be enjoyed with friends. Click the "Get Tickets" button to purchase your tickets.
